How bloody awesome!

I'm learning to be more comfortable with doing cool stuff and getting recognised for it and feeling proud rather than embarrassed or something.

So with that said, I'm excited to announce I'm a finalist in the WasteMINZ Excellence Awards, and the only person to be a finalist in two categories

I’m not usually one to participate in things like this, however, it got the better of me!

I asked AI to create a caricature of me based on my work and research… and I have to admit, it was pretty entertaining to see what came back.

Apparently, I now permanently exist next to a skip bin labelled C&D waste, holding a plant, and surrounded by plasterboard offcuts. Which, honestly, isn’t that far off reality, haha!

It pulled together themes from The Repurpose Project, my Master's in Change and Organisational Resilience (MCOR) research, and the wider push toward circular thinking in residential construction.

Seeing it visualised like this was a bit of fun, but also a reminder of how connected all of this mahi has become :-)

Now that's pretty cool. Has anyone been following this?
