This is our home, an architectural build we designed and built for our own family right here in Martinborough.

We had a small section that needed to work hard. The brief was to create a home that felt generous, functional and easy to live in, while keeping maintenance low and quality high.

What that looked like:

→ A thoughtful floor plan that maximised every square metre
→ Simple outdoor spaces designed to be enjoyed, not just maintained
→ Clean, modern lines that keep the home feeling simple and considered
→ A home that fits the way a busy family actually lives

Demolition Day — making way for an exciting new extension.

Dark skies, rural views, and a brand new minor dwelling — Wairarapa at its finest.

We completed this beautiful minor dwelling for clients in Martinborough — now welcoming guests as Te Muna Ridge on Airbnb — and they recently shared this stunning dark sky photo with us. (Perks of being a dark sky reserve.)

This project is a great example of what's possible on a lifestyle block — and with recent changes to consent rules, adding a minor dwelling is now easier and faster than ever.

We recently completed the renovation of a historic lawyer's office right here in Martinborough, converting it into Airbnb accommodation now known as The Chambers. The clients wanted to honour the character of the original building while reimagining every space for modern comfort and hospitality.

WE ARE HIRING!

Martinborough Plumbing & Gas are a local company with a strong, established customer base. We have been delivering high-quality plumbing & gas solutions across our beautiful Wairarapa region for the last 8 years. We carry out work on new builds, maintenance, renovations and complete drain laying.

You know what is involved in plumbing on a day to day basis but to be successful here is what you need:

➡️ to be a Qualified Tradesman or Certified, Registered Plumber
➡️ you can problem solve
➡️ to fill out daily timesheets, keep Fergus updated and fill out Asbuilt plans as required.
➡️ a strong knowledge of NZ plumbing systems, codes & regulations
➡️ you can work independently but you are also a proven team player
➡️ a current, full NZ Driver’s License
➡️ being a registered drainlayer and gasfitter would be a bonus but isn’t essential
