The term "mental health" has carried a negative stigma for a long time. But, what if we referred to it as "brain health," instead? Do you think more people would be open to seeking help?

When we face other health issues, we don't hesitate to seek medical assistance. The health of our brain should be a top priority, considering that it controls everything we do!

Mental (brain) health is a top priority for our Company because when our staff are well, the Company does well. This week at Orkney Group, we will be providing our team with tools for optimal mental wellness and ways to connect better with others - because we are better in community!

We are currently installing Viking Enviroclad TPO in the large box gutters at the Te Wananga Aotearoa Porirua campus, which is undergoing extensive refurbishment.

Viking Enviroclad is an ideal solution for box gutters due to its 3.6-metre width and 30-metre roll length, minimising the need for laps. Any necessary laps, along with proprietary accessories and outlets, are fully heat-vulcanised with welds that are as strong as the membrane itself.

Our team just completed the roofing on this stunning new home! We used 0.55 Colorcote Magnaflow Dimond Veedek roofing and Velux Skylights to give it a sleek and modern look. The cladding we used was Dimond Rib20 in Ironsand (not shown in the photos) to complete the whole package. "

Our membrane team installed Viking Enviroclad to 6 of these dormers in a house in Grenada North. One of the benefits of this product is its width (3.6m) and length (30.4m) which allowed this roof to be installed with no seams in one continuous length. The ultimate in waterproofing integrity!

The Newtown Library is undergoing a full reroof. This project includes asbestos removal and clean up, installing new treated timber purlins, Thermokraft 407 underlay and Steel & Tube Custom Orb roof sheets. We will also install a new plywood and Viking Enviroclad membrane to the flat roof over the offices. Stay tuned - the before and after shots of this project will be dramatic!
