An unusual request for help!
We service sewerage systems on the Coromandel and have a problem we need help with.
A number of the properties we deal with are holiday homes, owned by people living in constant lockdown who are unable to come to their properties.
A proportion of these properties have worm based sewerage systems and the poor little buggers are going hungry.
We have fed each lot as we have come to them, but lockdown has gone on longer than anticipated and we can’t keep up with feeding them all.
Our veggie gardens arent big enough for everyone and it’s logistically very challenging!
We are reaching out to see if there is one or two permanent residents in Hot Water Beach, Hahei and Kuaotunu to supply veggies and feed the worms on these properties.
We will first collect names and details of the helpful neighbour, pass them to the property owner for approval, then pass the property details to the volunteer...too easy.
