The Driller is responsible for operating surface and underground diamond drill rigs to extract core samples for geological analysis. This role requires strong technical proficiency, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in remote and demanding environments. The Driller ensures accurate core recovery, maintains equipment to a high standard, and supports the overall success of drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities
โข Conduct surface diamond drilling operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
โข Operate surface drill rigs capable of deep hole drilling up to 1,500 meters.
โข Perform grouting activities and ensure all grouting requirements are met.
โข Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot surface diamond drill rigs and associated equipment.
โข Ensure accurate core sampling, logging, and reporting, targeting 100% core recovery.
โข Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling rigs and tools.
โข Comply with all Company and Client Safety Standards, Policies, and Procedures at all times.
โข Work collaboratively with the project team to meet operational targets and deadlines.
โข Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior drillers.
โข Demonstrate strong communication skillsโboth written and verbal.
โข Exhibit personal attributes such as initiative, honesty, reliability, and the ability to effectively prioritize workload.
โข Hold relevant qualifications and proven drilling experience.

โข Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance on drilling rigs and tools.
โข Strictly adhere to Company and Client Safety Standards, Policies, and Procedures.
โข Collaborate with the project team to achieve operational goals and timelines.
โข Provide guidance, leadership, and mentorship to junior drillers.
โข Adapt to demanding underground working conditions while upholding all safety protocols.
โข Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
โข Display strong initiative, honesty, reliability, and effective workload management skills.
โข Possess relevant qualifications and experience in underground diamond drilling.

โข Strong technical understanding of diamond drilling methods, rig operation, and equipment maintenance.
โข Ability to monitor drilling parameters and adjust techniques to maximize core recovery.
โข Knowledge of drilling fluids, sampling processes, and mechanical troubleshooting.
โข Relevant industry certifications and proven operational experience.
โข Ability to pass a full Pre Employment Medical Examination.
โข Valid Police Clearance Certificate.
โข Age limit: up to 40 years.
