A 39 sqm transformation in Carmenville Subdivision that redefines how auxiliary spaces can seamlessly elevate everyday living.
Designed with a Modern Functional approach, this extension integrates a fully planned dirty kitchen, covered laundry area, and a thoughtfully crafted maid’s room with its own toilet and bath, all unified under a clean polycarbonate roofing system supported by tubular steel framing.

Working closely with our client, we reimagined their side setback as a purposeful extension of the home—extending the existing structural lines, maximizing the easement, and ensuring every addition blends effortlessly with the original architecture. From kitchen sinks efficiently placed along the property wall line to discreet storage solutions for staff, every detail was designed to support comfort, workflow, and long-term function.

A compact footprint, elevated into a cohesive and hardworking extension—built to serve, built to last, and built to feel like it was always meant to be part of the home.

What was once a simple grassy backyard is now the heart of the home: a newly reconstructed swimming pool framed by clean lines and breezy finishes, extending the living experience outdoors. Inside, the old parquet floors were replaced with durable herringbone wood-tile flooring, creating a timeless base that ties every space together.

We softened the home’s once-curved high ceiling by introducing false beams—evoking the charm of a refined beach house. A pocket garden brings a touch of nature into the expansive interior, balancing the new fluted panels, adobe brick accents, and curated stonework that define the updated material palette.

Every corner was refreshed: from the fully modular kitchen to modernized bedrooms and bathrooms, each space now blends functionality with understated luxury.

This transformation was built on collaboration. The client wished to preserve the home’s character—the French windows, the arches, the distinctive hexagon bathroom windows—while giving the interiors a completely new life. By merging these existing architectural elements with modern finishes and coastal-inspired details, the renovated Banahaw Residence becomes a place that feels both rooted and renewed.

The Villanueva Residence Exterior Facelift redefines the home’s street presence through a composed interplay of modern contemporary and mid-century geometry, highlighted by a newly introduced three-tiered split-level roof that replaces the original gable with dynamic massing and refined proportions. The reconstructed frontage integrates breeze blocks as a breathable architectural base, paired with slatted tubular steel gates that balance transparency, security, and visual rhythm. A centrally covered carport beneath the lowest roof plane functions as a flexible semi-outdoor social space, seamlessly tied to the grass-pavered driveway and the carefully layered Japanese garden. Unified by wooden PVC ceiling soffits and soft mid-tone white wall finishes, the design achieves a restrained, enduring aesthetic while preserving the original house footprint.

Transforming constraints into character—this renovation reimagines a simple, boxy form into a warm, modern Filipino residence with a strong, elegant street presence.
The redesigned façade softens the home’s squarish volume through layered louvers, balanced proportions, and a refreshed material palette. At the forefront, the new dual-gate system creates both function and rhythm: a vehicular gate leading to the internal driveway, and a separate entry for the covered carport, unified by a bermed garden strip that doubles as discreet storage.

Inside the compact 120 sqm footprint rises an efficient two-storey home with 4 bedrooms and 3 T&B, thoughtfully planned for comfort without excess. The expansive 416 sqm lot opens to a generous backyard—ready for recreation or future expansion.

This project is a true collaboration. The client’s vision was clear: give a simple form a striking identity. Through parametric metal patterns, tubular-framed polycarbonate roofing, and a modern louvered façade, the design achieves exactly that—turning simplicity into a statement and everyday living into something beautifully elevated.
