BAGUIO CITY — The Paint A Pot initiative conducted a community engagement activity at the SPED Center in Baguio City on February 26, bringing together volunteers and students in a program focused on creativity, environmental awareness, and inclusive interaction.

The activity featured pot painting and planting ornamental plants, where volunteers worked alongside students in decorating plant pots and planting foliage. The initiative aimed to encourage creativity and self-expression among learners while providing a supportive and engaging environment.

In addition to the artistic activities, the volunteers also facilitated short learning sessions and interactive games inside the classroom. These interactions allowed participants to connect with the students while recognizing their enthusiasm, talents, and active participation throughout the program.

The activity highlights the advocacy’s belief that art and nature can be powerful tools for community building and personal growth. By combining painting, planting, and collaborative learning, the initiative promotes environmental appreciation while strengthening relationships between volunteers and the community.

The visit to the SPED Center emphasized the value of inclusive community engagement. Organizers expressed their hope that initiatives like Paint A Pot will continue to inspire creativity, compassion, and stronger connections within the community.
