"Ang alamat ng upo"

May nagtapon lang dati ng lumang upo dun sa tabi ng kalsada. Good thing, ginagawang tapunan ng mga bulok na gulay yung lugar kaya ang taba ng lupa. Perfect para tumubo yung mga buto ng upo.

Tapos dumaan ang mga araw, linggo, buwan. Sakto naman na umuulan paminsan-minsan, kaya ayun, umusbong at lumago yung halaman.

Pagkatapos nun, namunga na siya. Tapos eto na, nagkataong dumaan yung mga lineman dun. Mula nun, binabalik-balikan na nila yung bangin para sa libreng gulay para sa masa. Anytime na may mapadaan, pwede kumuha basta may maitaong bunga😀👌

Kaya ayun, salamat sa taong nagtapon. Di sinasadya, pero nakatulong pa 😂

Having a short rest after working tirelessly under the scorching sun, a dog approached me. It looked thirsty, so I thought for a moment and tried to pet it. I figured it would be better to give it some water to drink.

I looked around but didn’t see anything to put water in. I found an empty soda bottle, cut it in half, and poured some of my extra drinking water into it. I watched the canine quench its thirst, and I smiled with a sense of relief.

So as a Prepper, it is my personal choice of
EDC (Everyday Carry) a pack that is compact, highly organized backpack or bag designed to hold daily essentials ready for immediate access. It can be customized depending on a persons needs on a daily basis, popular options range from urban-focused kits , sub-urban and others opted to mix both , and as for me with unorthodox arsenal,
I have this.

*Medicine -

Pinaka importante ang
mga gamot for
emergency instances
like anti histamines
Dahil we experienced
first hand what
anaphylactic shock
feels and confirmed that every
split-second counts.Alongside with this ay yung mga pain reliver,paracetamol,
loperamide and other basic meds pang on the go dahil hindi laging may watsons and Mercury drug store sa bundok.

*Vitamins-

We prefer puting this on our pack since lagi nating nakakalimutan uminom , it help us be reminded para mag take in a daily basis para naman hindi masayang ang binibigay ng kompanya👌


*First aid kit -

basic bandaids,iodine cotton swabs,
antibiotic ointment and antiseptic swabs since
merong at meronparing instances na
masusugat tayo sa fieldkahit gaano tayo ka ingat .Sting relief pads for insect bites and
bee stings.eyedrop pangontra puwing and
itch relief ointment kapag na higad ka sa
site. Yes we do have first aid kits provided by
the company for the group but when you are
in the field,hindi mo palaging madadala yun
lalo na kapag malayo layong lakaran at
kaylangan mong iwan ang sasakyan.

*Phone-

Siyempre pang contact sa ibang tropa in case mapadpad sa malayong lugar na pahirapan ang signal, we experienced "miscommunications" before and it almost became fatal on our side.
that's why we are confident enough to say that communication devices are among the most vital tool one should bring everytime. At kasama na rin jan ang pang documentation, attachment sa accomplishment reports at pang reels na din para makita nung mga "bulag" kung ano talagang nangyayari sa field.

*Alcohol-

Pang dis-infect sa matang nakakita sa baluktot na sistema.

*Identification cards-

Lisensya and other id's para madali kang makilala ng mga makakahanap sayo.

*Atm cards-

Very useful pag magwiwthraw ka sa atm sa tuktok ng bundok.

*Business cards-

Para may maibigay kapag may humingi ng number mo.Kasama na ang mga numbers ng suppliers, essential personnel at emergency contact numbers kapag kakailanganin.

*Pen-

Pang pirma sa mga cheke at confidential documents.

*Field sharpener-

Pang hasa sa utility knives for evisceration, wire st*****rs, at itak gamit pang clearing.

*Spotlight-

Para may magamit sa mga unexpected overtimes pag may mang babangga sa poste ng alas kwatro ng hapon

*Lighter-

Hindi naman kailangan na nagyoyosi ang tao para magdala niyan.

*Rubberbands-

Para may panali sa bundles of cash.

*Earphones-

Magagamit pag makikinig ka sa nga debate sa senado.

*Honey sachets-

Emergency source of energy kapag nanghina na and extra wound dressing pag kinailangan.

*Hard candy-

Any brand will do ,malalaman mo lang gano ka precious ang bawat isa nito kapag nasubukan mo nang kumain ng lunch around
3-4 pm ng hapon due to certain factors sa work in the field.

*Mint candy-

Temporary first aid sa hininga mong parang hininga ng dragon.

*Emergency whistle-

Magagamit mo pag may biglaang pa liga sa site.

*Nail cutter-

Pantanggal sa wood splinters na sumiksik sa ilalim ng kuko mo.

*Dentalfloss and toothpicks-

Magagamit mo in case ma tinga ka sa ulam mong sardinas.

*Plastic bags-

Kakailanganin mo yan baka may madaanan kang watwatan sa site.

*Pocket money-

Pang bili mo ng miryenda pag nagutom ka.

It's only a fraction of my edc actually.

Until now im still flabbergasted dahil napansin ni big boss yung edc natin, supposedly,
we planned to address to him directly sana pero baka ma powertrip tayo at maapektuhan ang work status natin kaya we'll just simply leave it here as a post.

Yung iba wala ngang abubot,
system's loss naman 🤣🤣🤣

Buti pa yung EDC napansin, pero yung concern nung mag tu-two decades na in the industry di manlang pinansin pati yung concern about sa mga promises sa mga linemen after that month-long power restoration sa north ,
