BRIEF HISTORY:
The Company was previously named TULIO ELCTTRICAL SERVICES established by the late
ENGR. TULIO, REE, previous General Manager/Proprietor of the company, last April 2000 to supply man power services to Companies, both private and public sectors, particularly in the Construction of Electrical Transmission/Distribution lines, installation of electrical equipments namely Transformers, Generators and Electric Motors as well as their respective protective devices and controllers, and Telecommunications services namely telephone and internet connection installation. The Company’s purpose of service was widen up and changed the firm’s name to TULIO CONSTRUCTION SERVICES AND SUPPLIES in order for the company to operate both man power service and supply electrical materials to Companies which may need the firm’s services. On the first 2½ years of operation, the company is engaged mostly in the construction of Electrical Transmission lines, which are all initiated/financed, by Davao Del Norte Electric Cooperative (DANECO). However on the on set of the third quarter of 2003, the company has been accredited by the Island Garden City of Samal and in turn was allowed to participate in public Bidding for their various Electrification Projects. After nine (10) years of Operation, the Company has accomplished the following:
1. Constructed more than 200 Kms. Of both Single and three phase lines 7.62kv/240 volts lateral lines of various barangays in the provinces of Compostela Valley and Davao Del Norte, these projects are initiated by DANECO.
2. Constructed more than 50 kms. of Single phase lines 7.96 kv/240 volts transmission lines in various Barangays, Municipalities, and Subdivisions of Island Garden City of Samal. These projects are initiated by the City Government, DANECO, and Private Project Owners.
3. Supply locomotive parts and Electrical equipments/parts to various mining companies in the region.
4. Supply poles, line hardwares and conductors to the local government units of Island Garden City of Samal, Private Project Owners in Davao Del Norte, and various electric cooperatives.
5. Rehabilitate various 69 kv transmission lines held by TRANSCO and DANECO.
6. Engaged in transmission line construction with GLOBE and SMART telecommunications and telephone installations.
7. Subcontracted various projects that brought the Company in different areas in Mindanao.
8. Accredited by DANECO as contractor in the Island Garden City of Samal, Davao Del Norte for distribution line construction work and rehabilitation.
9. Constructed 10 kms of 69 KV 3 phase ASELCO lines at Talacogon, Agusan del Sur. FUTURE PLANS
• The Company is going to invest on hot line equipments which will be used eventually needed for the rehabilitation of energized electrical lines.
• The Company is also planning to send over interested personnel to undergo rigid training on hot line works so that power outages will be minimized during rehabilitation works.
