Proposed Two-Storey Residence at Arden Botanical Village, Tanza, Cavite 🏡🌿

This sustainable tropical home was designed for a British-Filipino couple, merging residential design elements from the UK and the Philippines. Bricks, wood and steel form a quiet contrast over a calm neutral palette, softened by lush greenery and open spaces that celebrate tropical living.

From dream to reality ✨🏡

This two-storey industrial-style home was designed for a young family, balancing work and life with thoughtfully crafted spaces. Large open windows invite natural light while maintaining privacy through perforated metal screens. By blending the exterior and interior, we created seamless connections with nature, including garden spaces that bring warmth and tranquility to their everyday living.

We're looking for Meranaw respondents! Our team is currently developing a design research with the goal of designing the 21st century Meranaw Home.

This survey aims to gather insights from Meranaw individuals to help define the concept of a Meranaw home in the 21st century. As Marawi City undergoes reconstruction following the siege, we strive to contribute to its rebuilding by designing homes that reflect the values, needs, and aspirations of today’s Meranaws.

You are eligible to participate in this survey if you meet at least one of the following criteria:
1. You are Meranaw by blood (whether fully or partially).
2. You grew up within a Meranaw community.

Inside a Contemporary Maranao Home in Iligan City, Philippines

This home blends functionalist design, Southeast Asian aesthetics, and Maranao cultural values to create a space uniquely suited for a Maranao family in the Southern Philippines. Designed to maximize the 200 sqm lot, the home thoughtfully incorporates ample natural light and ventilation, ensuring comfort and sustainability. The roof deck serves as a highlight, offering a full 180 degree view of Iligan Bay.

Architects design buildings with human scale and psychology in mind. Every detail, from room height and wall terminations to window and door openings, as well as finishing materials, is carefully considered to align with the human psyche.

We decided to do design alterations for the proposed three-unit row house in Brgy. Tipanoy, Iligan City.

From concrete breeze blocks, we opted for perforated metal sheets for the facade material. This shift allows for better natural lighting and ventilation while still maintaining privacy for the interior spaces.
