TODAY, I TURNED DOWN A CLIENT. *Long post ahead* 🚨
Yes, you read that right. As a small agency thriving in the dynamic world of Amazon, each client is valuable. Every opportunity represents growth, every partnership offers new possibilities. But today, I made the choice to reject a client.
Why would I do that? Well, it’s simple: I care deeply about the virtual assistants (VAs) I hire, train, and nurture. For me, it’s never just about the money. My agency is built on a foundation of trust, integrity, and mutual success. That’s why, even though every client brings financial growth, not every client is the right client.
Here’s the truth: I owe it to my VAs.
I’ve committed to providing not only exceptional services for Amazon sellers but also creating an environment where the VAs I hire are valued, respected, and given the tools they need to succeed. This means that any client we take on must align with our agency's values. It's not just about landing deals – it's about making sure every collaboration fosters growth for everyone involved, especially the VAs.
My promise isn’t just to deliver highly trained Amazon virtual assistants to clients at an affordable rate. It’s also to ensure that the clients we work with are deserving of the hard work and dedication my VAs put in day in and day out. I refuse to compromise on this.
Why is this important? Because the well-being of my team comes first. I work tirelessly to create an environment where our VAs can thrive – a workplace where they feel supported, appreciated, and motivated to reach their full potential. Their success translates directly into the success of our clients. But to maintain that, I must make sure our clients share these values and recognize that we’re not just service providers; we’re partners working towards shared success.
So yes, I turned down a client today. And I’ll do it again if it means preserving the core of what makes my agency strong. It’s not about chasing money – it’s about building a sustainable, empowering ecosystem where every VA and every client gets the best possible experience.
At the end of the day, my goal isn’t just to grow my agency; it’s to ensure everyone I work with grows alongside me. That’s the kind of business I’m proud to lead.
