THE BLOCK HOUSE

Architectural Facelift and Renovation of a Bungalow House located in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan

The 2-Storey Residence with a roof deck was designed to provide additional airflow inside the existing bungalow house without demolishing the exterior walls.

To satisfy the need for enhanced airflow inside the property, vertical and roof ventilation was incorporated into the design. The use of large jalousie windows is an effective consideration not just for the ventilation concerns but also economically. High ceiling with bigger clerestory windows at the stair were strategically designed to serve as the ventilation shaft of the house. The overall design of the project is inspired with the combination of natural elements and muji style which compliments the client’s needs and budget.

- Create designs that conforms with space availability and functionality. A good space planning is not compromising.

- Do not settle for typical lighting configuration. Using mood and other types of lighting will give a better ambiance for your bathroom.
