Aircon Is Dripping From the Front Panel? 💧❄️

May tubig na tumutulo mismo sa harap o ilalim ng indoor unit? Hindi normal na ang condensate water ay bumagsak sa loob ng room.

Normally, moisture collected by the aircon should flow through the drain pan → drain hose → proper discharge point outside.

Kapag sa loob na tumutulo, possible causes include:

💧 Clogged drain line
🧼 Dirty drain pan
📐 Incorrect drain hose slope
🌀 Heavy dirt buildup on the evaporator
🧊 Ice buildup that melts after operation
🔧 Drain hose connection or installation issue

Kung barado ang drain, hindi sapat na punasan lang ang tubig. The drainage path needs to be checked and cleared properly.

If the leak is close to electrical outlets, appliances, or furniture, switch the aircon off first to prevent further damage.

Biglang kumikislap ang indicator light o may lumabas na error code sa display ng aircon?

Modern air conditioners use error codes or blinking indicators to signal that the system has detected an abnormal condition. Instead na hulaan agad kung anong sira, the code can help the technician narrow down what needs to be checked.

May naririnig kang “click” kapag binubuksan ang aircon, pero hindi naman tuluyang nag-start o walang lumalabas na malamig na hangin?

A single click can be part of normal operation. Pero kung paulit-ulit ang clicking at hindi nag-start ang unit, may component na maaaring hindi makapag-engage nang maayos.

Possible causes:

⚡ Weak or faulty capacitor
🔌 Electrical connection issue
🖥️ Relay or control board problem
🌀 Fan motor not starting properly
⚙️ Compressor starting problem
🔋 Power supply or voltage issue

Naka-on ang aircon, may ilaw at display naman, pero walang lumalabas na hangin o sobrang hina ng indoor fan?

If the unit has power but the blower isn’t operating properly, the problem may be within the indoor airflow system—not automatically refrigerant-related.

Possible causes:

🌀 Blower wheel obstruction
⚙️ Weak or damaged fan motor
🔌 Loose electrical connection
🖥️ Control board or fan-control issue
❄️ Heavy ice buildup restricting airflow
🌬️ Excessive dirt buildup inside the unit

Kapag hindi umiikot nang maayos ang indoor blower, avoid running the aircon continuously. The evaporator may become excessively cold and ice can develop.

Aircon Remote Works, but the Unit Doesn’t Respond? 📱❄️

May display naman ang remote at napipindot ang buttons, pero walang response ang aircon—hindi nag-o-on, walang beep, o kailangan pang paulit-ulit pindutin?

Bago isipin na major repair agad, may ilang simple causes na puwedeng i-check.

Possible causes:

🔋 Weak or incorrectly installed remote batteries
📡 Remote signal not reaching the receiver
🧼 Dirty or blocked receiver area
📱 Faulty aircon remote
🔌 Indoor unit has no power supply
🖥️ Receiver board or control-board issue

Try replacing the batteries first and make sure you’re pointing the remote toward the indoor unit. If another compatible remote works but the original doesn’t, the remote itself may be the problem.

Binubuksan ang aircon, then after a few seconds or minutes biglang nagti-trip ang circuit breaker? Huwag paulit-ulit na i-reset at piliting paandarin ang unit.

A breaker trips to protect the electrical circuit when it detects an abnormal electrical load or fault.

Possible causes:

⚡ Weak or faulty capacitor
🔌 Loose or damaged wiring
🌀 Fan motor drawing excessive current
⚙️ Compressor electrical problem
🖥️ Control board or electrical component issue
🔧 Incorrect breaker, wiring, or circuit capacity

Kung isang beses lang nangyari dahil sa temporary power disturbance, observe the unit. Pero kung paulit-ulit itong nagti-trip whenever the aircon operates, switch the unit off and have it properly inspected.

Avoid replacing the breaker with a higher amp rating just to stop it from tripping. The aircon, wiring, breaker, and circuit requirements should be checked first.

May napansin kang yelo o makapal na frost sa copper pipe papunta sa outdoor unit? Hindi ito dapat balewalain, especially kung kasabay nito ay humihina na rin ang cooling o airflow ng aircon.

Ice formation can happen when the refrigeration system or airflow is not operating under normal conditions.

Possible causes:

🌬️ Restricted airflow
🌀 Dirty evaporator coil
⚙️ Weak indoor blower
❄️ Refrigerant issue or possible leak
🔧 Restriction within the refrigeration system

Important: Huwag basta magpa-add ng freon dahil lang may yelo. Refrigerant doesn’t normally get “used up.” If the charge is actually low, the system should be checked for the reason first.

Continuing to operate an aircon while heavily iced may worsen the problem. Turn it off and allow the ice to melt before professional inspection.
