The Bachelor of Science in Forestry (BSF), also known as the Ka-Puno Family, became the overall champion during Pagminahalay 2025 after demonstrating strong teamwork, creativity, and dedication across all contest categories held during the year-end campus celebration on December 17, 2025.
The Ka-Puno Family secured first place in the Street Beautification Contest, reflecting organized planning and creative ex*****on. BSF also claimed first place in the Dance Contest, delivering a disciplined and coordinated performance. In the Video Parody Contest, BSF earned first place through a creative and well-prepared presentation that resonated with both the audience and the judges.
In addition to its first-place finishes, BSF placed second in the Sayawit Contest, showing strong vocal performance and coordination, and second place in the Table Beautification Contest, where careful attention to detail and theme were evident. These results placed BSF at the top of the overall standings, earning the program the Overall Championship of Pagminahalay 2025.
The achievement was made possible through the collective efforts of BSF students, faculty members, and supporters who worked together throughout the preparation period. Despite academic demands such as final examinations and course requirements, BSF students dedicated time and effort to practices and decoration work, often extending late into the night to ensure quality outputs in every competition.
The BSF community expressed sincere appreciation to all BSF instructors for their unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement. Their understanding and continued motivation played an important role in sustaining the studentsโ commitment and morale during the preparation and competition period.
Gratitude was also extended to all members of the Ka-Puno Family who shared their time, energy, and skills in preparing for the contests. The students acknowledged the sacrifices made in balancing academic responsibilities with contest preparation, including long practice hours and extended decoration work.
The BSF community also expressed gratitude to God for the guidance, protection, and safety granted to all participants throughout the preparation period. The community recognized the safe travels from home to school and from school to home, especially during late-night practices and decoration activities. The success of Pagminahalay 2025 was humbly dedicated to God by the Ka-Puno Family.
The Ka-Puno Family expressed hope that the strong support, unity, and cooperation demonstrated during Pagminahalay 2025 will continue beyond the celebration. The BSF community looks forward to sustaining this spirit in future academic, co-curricular, and community activities.
