RECU NCR personnel conducted an " Information Drive/Distribution of Flyers " on “Bomb Awareness”. The purpose of said activity is to encourage every citizen to be vigilant and aware of the law related to bomb threats and other similar incidents related to explosives, to report to prevent terrorist atrocities and continuous intensified security measures, to pre-empt and prevent the perpetration by CTG’s and other lawless elements.

In line with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Focused Agenda on Enhanced Managing Police Operations, and under the leadership and supervision of PMAJ ALEJANDRO L PARTA JR, OIC, Regional Explosives Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit – National Capital Region (RECU-NCR), personnel of the Regional EOD and Canine Unit-NCR conducted Foot Patrol Operations and Police Visibility activities within the Area of Responsibility (AOR).

The activity aims to strengthen public safety and security through heightened police presence, proactive community engagement, and continuous monitoring of areas frequented by the public. Through regular foot patrols, RECU-NCR personnel actively interacted with community members, provided security assistance, and reinforced crime prevention measures to help maintain peace and order.

The conduct of police visibility operations serves as a vital component in deterring criminal activities, enhancing public confidence in law enforcement, and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, workers, and visitors throughout the National Capital Region. Moreover, these initiatives demonstrate the commitment of the PNP in delivering responsive, effective, and community-oriented policing services.

In line with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Focused Agenda on Enhanced Managing Police Operations, and under the leadership and supervision of PMAJ ALEJANDRO L PARTA JR, OIC, Regional EOD and Canine Unit–National Capital Region (RECU-NCR), personnel of RECU-NCR successfully conducted a Shock and Awe Operation as part of the unit's continuing commitment to maintaining peace, order, and public safety within the National Capital Region.

The activity aimed to strengthen police visibility, enhance security measures, and intensify law enforcement presence in strategic areas. Through the conduct of the Shock and Awe Operation, RECU-NCR personnel demonstrated their readiness and capability to respond to potential threats, prevent criminal activities, and ensure the safety and security of the public.

The operation also served as a proactive measure to deter lawless elements, promote community confidence, and reinforce the PNP's mission of protecting lives and properties. Personnel conducted area security inspections, visibility patrols, and public engagement activities while remaining vigilant against possible security risks and other threats that may compromise public safety.

RECU-NCR remains steadfast in supporting the directives of the PNP leadership by continuously implementing programs and operations that contribute to a safer and more secure environment for all. In line with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Focused Agenda on Enhanced Managing Police Operations, and under the leadership and supervision of PMAJ ALEJANDRO L PARTA JR, OIC, RECU-NCR, personnel of the Regional EOD and Canine Unit – National Capital Region (RECU-NCR) successfully conducted a Junkshop Visitation and Inspection as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen public safety and prevent the unlawful acquisition, possession, and disposal of explosive-related materials.

The activity aimed to ensure compliance with existing laws, rules, and regulations governing the operation of junkshops, particularly concerning the handling, storage, and disposal of potentially hazardous and explosive materials. During the inspection, RECU-NCR personnel coordinated with junkshop owners and operators, provided safety reminders, and emphasized the importance of immediately reporting suspicious items, unexploded ordnance, improvised explosive device (IED) components, and other dangerous materials that may pose a threat to public safety.

This initiative forms part of the PNP's proactive measures to enhance community awareness, strengthen partnerships with business establishments, and prevent the proliferation of explosive-related threats within the community. Through continuous monitoring, inspection, and engagement activities, RECU-NCR remains committed to maintaining peace and order while ensuring the safety and security of the public.

The Regional EOD and Canine Unit–NCR encourages all business owners and community members to remain vigilant and to promptly report any suspicious activities or items to the nearest police station or EOD personnel for proper assessment and disposition.

In line with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Focused Agenda on Community Support, and under the leadership and supervision of PMAJ ALEJANDRO L PARTA JR, OIC, RECU-NCR, personnel of the Regional EOD and Canine Unit – National Capital Region (RECU-NCR) successfully conducted a lecture on Project ABKD (Awareness of Bombs that Kill Lives and Destroy Property) in relation to "Bomb Threat Awareness" as part of the Balik Eskwela 2026 program.

The activity aimed to educate and strengthen the awareness of students, teachers, and school personnel regarding the dangers posed by bomb threats and explosive-related incidents. Participants were provided with essential knowledge on identifying suspicious items and activities, the proper procedures for reporting potential threats, and the appropriate actions to take during bomb-related emergencies.

The lecture also emphasized the importance of vigilance, preparedness, and cooperation among members of the community in maintaining a safe and secure learning environment. Additionally, the role of First Responders in managing emergencies and protecting lives and property was discussed to further enhance the participants' understanding of public safety measures.

Through Project ABKD, RECU-NCR remains committed to promoting public awareness, strengthening community engagement, and fostering a culture of safety and preparedness among educational institutions and the general public. As the new school year begins, initiatives such as this contribute significantly to ensuring that schools remain safe spaces for learning and development.
