Fischer Bolt Anchors are engineered for heavy-duty mechanical fastening in concrete and solid masonry.
Understanding the correct anchoring process is essential when working with structural loads, aluminium & glass systems, curtain walls, façades, railings, and other construction applications.
π© How the anchoring process works:
01 β DRILL
Prepare the hole to the required diameter and depth.
02 β CLEAN
Remove dust and debris from the drilled hole.
03 β INSERT
Position the bolt anchor correctly inside the prepared hole.
04 β TIGHTEN
Apply the required tightening torque to activate the expansion mechanism.
05 β EXPAND & LOCK
The cone moves into the expansion clip, forcing it outward against the hole walls and creating a strong mechanical friction lock.
π What should you check?
β Anchor size & thread
β Required anchor length
β Hole diameter & depth
β Material/grade
β Expansion clip condition
β Nut & washer condition
β Correct installation procedure
β Proper torque application
Strong anchoring starts with correct installation.
