The structure in the image is a Laminar Air Flow (LAF) system or Laminar Flow Ceiling unit, typically installed in Operation Theaters (OTs) and cleanroom environments.

Key Features and Purpose:

Purpose: To maintain a sterile and controlled environment by providing a unidirectional, low-turbulence airflow.

HEPA Filters: It contains HEPA filters that supply clean air in a laminar (parallel) flow, reducing the risk of airborne contamination.

Placement: Usually installed above the operating table to keep the surgical field sterile.

Construction: Suspended from the ceiling with metallic ductwork and covered with a diffuser or perforated face.

Perforated cable tray working on site. Cable trays mainly support the laid main riser pipes which usually come from the bottom of the building (zone) to the top roof of the building where the main riser pipes are connected to the outdoor units.
Some building constructions provide base risers (ventilation alleys) or shafts through which the unit pipes are laid in the main riser pipe.
