Open House Exhibition Inspiring Innovation in Electrical Engineering ⚡
It was a proud and inspiring moment to see Dr. Tehseen Ilahi participating in the recent Open House Exhibition at Riphah International University - Lahore Campus, where he actively engaged with and supported students presenting their Projects (FYP) developed under his supervision.
Dr. Tehseen evaluated and tested the prototypes, discussed their technical designs, and encouraged students to further develop their ideas into practical and innovative engineering solutions.
Among the exciting projects showcased under his supervision were an AI-Assisted Economical Electric Vehicle (EV), a Smart Solar-Based E-Bike Charging System, and a Solid-State Transformer, along with several other innovative projects in Electrical Engineering.
These projects demonstrate the integration of:
🔹 Electric vehicles and sustainable mobility
🔹 Smart EV charging systems
🔹 Power electronics and advanced energy systems
🔹 Renewable energy and smart energy management
🔹 Artificial Intelligence and smart technologies
Dr. Tehseen strongly believes that engineering education should go beyond theoretical concepts. Students should be encouraged to think critically, innovate, design, develop, test, and transform their ideas into practical solutions.
His continuous guidance, encouragement, and supervision have motivated students to explore emerging technologies and develop solutions with real-world applications.
We are thankful to Dr. Muhammad Zahid for his valuable technical support and co-supervision of the projects, and to the Head of the Department for providing an environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and engineering excellence.
