Podiam simplesmente ter ignorado o facto de serem batizados, mas quiseram livrar-se do rótulo de católicos. Não são crentes e recusam fazer parte das estatísticas. Ao DN, falam sobre o processo de desvinculação. Igreja não reúne dados sobre apostasias, paróquias falam em números residuais...

Superioridade moral

Mais de 300 padres católicos do estado da Pensilvânia, nos EUA, são acusados do abuso sexual de mais de 1.000 crianças e jovens, ao longo de 70 anos. A acusação foi ontem divulgada, depois de dois anos de investigação às várias dioceses do estado.
