As part of the Community Participation Program and on the occasion of World Cleanup Day 2026, the Ministry of Municipality, represented by Al Khor & Al Dhakira Municipality Municipality and the Public Cleanliness Department, organized a clean-up campaign at Areeda Beach.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of beaches and public facilities, promote a culture of community responsibility, and encourage people from all segments of society to participate in protecting natural resources. It also seeks to translate sustainability concepts into practical practices that contribute to preserving the environment and enhancing quality of life.

In celebration of and the closing of Cleanliness Week 2026, Lavajet joined the Ministry of Municipality and Al Daayen Municipality in a clean-up campaign at Simaisma Beach.

Safety & Sustainability Awareness Workshop

Hundreds of workers and drivers participated in a specialized two-day awareness workshop at Al Rayyan Municipality Theater, organized by the General Cleaning Department (GCD) of the Ministry of Municipality in collaboration with Lavajet.

The workshop focused on strengthening safety practices, enhancing professional competencies, and raising awareness about sustainability through waste segregation at source, supporting the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

Together, we are building a safer, cleaner, and more sustainable Qatar.

شارك المئات من العمال والسائقين في ورشة توعوية متخصصة استمرت لمدة يومين بمسرح بلدية الريان، نظمتها إدارة النظافة العامة بوزارة البلدية بالتعاون مع شركة لافاجيت.

ركزت الورشة على تعزيز ممارسات السلامة المهنية، ورفع كفاءة العاملين، ونشر الوعي بأهمية فرز النفايات من المصدر ودوره في دعم الاستدامة وتحقيق أهداف رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030.
