Outsource AV Technician
AV Technician – Satellite TV Headend Systems, Hospitality, Banquet & Meeting Events
Job Summary
Responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of satellite TV headend systems and audiovisual equipment in hospitality environments. Ensure reliable TV services for guest rooms and provide professional AV support for banquet halls, meeting rooms, conferences, and special events.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot satellite TV headend (SMATV) systems.
Monitor signal quality, RF distribution networks, and TV channels to ensure uninterrupted service.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on headend equipment, amplifiers, splitters, Mult switches, receivers, and related devices.
Install and terminate coaxial, Cat5e/Cat6, fibre optic, and HDMI cabling as required.
Set up and operate audiovisual equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, and corporate events.
Configure projectors, LED displays, LCD TVs, video switchers, microphones, digital mixers, speakers, amplifiers, and presentation systems.
Conduct sound checks, equipment testing, and system verification before each event.
Provide on-site technical support during live events and resolve audio or video issues promptly.
Coordinate with hotel departments and event organizers to ensure all technical requirements are met.
Maintain AV equipment inventory and ensure proper storage and handling.
Maintain maintenance reports and document system faults, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Follow safety standards and manufacturer guidelines during all installations and maintenance work.
