It all started in 1981 when a group of friends attended college together to learn their trade. They parted company after graduation and independently honed their skills for 20 years.They came together again as, City and Guilds of London master craftsman and went to work for a renowned company Colchester & Lister of England in 2001. Here they used their skills in all of the best homes in England in
cluding the royal estate of Her Majesty, prominent politicians, pop stars, and many others belonging to the most elite in the U.K.and Europe. They have experience in listed historic home restoration and have done work at High Clere Castle (Downton Abbey) and the Palace of Versailles. Jon Holmes, the cofounder of Holmes Qatar, moved to Doha in 2014 with his wife who is employed at Sidra.
