Job Title:
Horticulture Team leader
Reporting to:
Horticulture Manager
Department:
Technical Department
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Comprehensive provision, organization and management of horticultural activities.
2. Organization and management of landscaping.
3. Elaboration of methodical procedures and concepts in field of landscaping, horticultural production plans and structure.
4. Determining the investment and operational intensity of horticultural production.
5. Introduction and use of modern methods and new technologies in horticultural production.
6. Management of the vegetable production process and ornamental trees.
7. visit horticultural clients on site, identify their business or technical problems and investigate causes
8. prepare new or modified operational strategies and business plans
9. Analyse horticultural and operational costs and the benefits resulting from existing or proposed public amenities and leisure locations
10. Design layouts and plan planting programmes for ornamental gardens or tree planting programmes with stakeholders
11. Formulate solutions, plan and organise trials to assess their effectiveness
12. Write advisory leaflets, specifications and technical manuals
13. Keep up to date in specialist areas.
14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Excellent leadership skills in safety, supervision, team building, and team management.
Efficient computer skills in MS programs.
Excellent landscape planning, designing, and implementation skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and conflict resolution.
Effective and courteous interaction with the public, user groups, other agencies and internal departments.
Qualifications:
A degree required in Horticulture
landscape design or any relevant certificate will be an advantage
Experience:
More than two years experience in the field

Salary & benefits: The equivalent of $200 for the probationary period - The equivalent of $250 Afterwords as minimum & 5% of net profit.
