Finished just in time for summer ☀️

Black aluminium uterum from with sliding glass doors and folding glass windows — easy to open up on warm days, or close off when the weather turns cold and rainy.

Out the back we built wide Spanish steps with integrated planter boxes, and at the front there’s an open seating area with full sun and a custom handrail that adds privacy without closing the space in.

A proper outdoor room made for Swedish summers — and the days when summer doesn’t quite show up.

Architect’s render vs current site progress.

This is the stage where the project starts to take shape. The walls, ceiling lines, services and framing are now in place, ready for the final layers, flooring, joinery and finishing.

The final design will include warm oak shelves, clean lighting and a much softer finished feel. Still a way to go, but this is where the vision starts becoming real.

A few details from a deck completed just in time for summer.

This project included a raised timber deck, wide feature steps, spanish sit steps and built in planter boxes.

The goal was to make the garden feel more connected to the house, while creating a practical space for summer evenings, family time and entertaining.

Uterum taking shape in Utby ☀️

has started installing the black aluminium frame on the deck we’ve been building. This will be finished with glass sliding doors and sliding windows, creating a clean, sheltered outdoor space ready for summer.

A great way to extend the living area and get more use out of the deck through the Swedish seasons.

A clean staircase upgrade with a modern contrast. In collaboration with

Black steel details, slim vertical balusters and warm timber treads/handrail give this staircase a much more open and contemporary feel, while still keeping the space practical and durable.

Small details make a big difference — from the matching black stringers and posts to the timber finish tying the stairs and handrail together.

Another quality outdoor space finished. In collaboration with who has done a fantastic landscaping job as always.

Bangkirai decking with hidden screws for a cleaner finish, paired with matching Bangkirai handrails and cladding for a sharp, consistent look throughout.

Natural hardwood, strong detailing, and a result that speaks for itself.

Big transformation underway here. Demolition is done and everything is now propped and ready for the ground works.
Next up: new retaining wall, asphalt, widening of the driveway, and preparation for a brand new deck.
In collaboration with Alulux, this project will also include a beautiful new uterum with glass sliding doors, a new deck with timber handrail, and Spanish steps with planter boxes designed to catch the sun in the backyard.
A lot of work happening behind the scenes now, but this one is going to be something special when it all comes together

This project delivered a brand new entrance, bathroom, bedroom, living area, and new stairs, creating a modern, practical, and welcoming lower level. From the exterior detailing to the clean interior finishes, every part of this renovation was built to lift both the look and function of the home.

A freshly completed Marbodal kitchen with a clean, modern finish. Dark cabinetry paired with light worktops and splashback creates a sharp contrast, while the island brings both function and flow to the space. Simple, practical and made for everyday living
