the Aedes aegypti mosquito is the primary vector for dengue and it tends to breed and rest indoors?

Source reduction is the most effective mosquito control measure for keeping mosquito populations low. This method eliminates mosquitoes at the most vulnerable stage of their life cycle, and is in line with the World Health Organization’s recommended good vector control practices. It takes approximately 7 days for the adult mosquitoes to develop from the eggs, under optimal conditions.
