Pruned the 7 tall trees in the front yard yesterday as they were looming really tall and looking quite unruly, not to mention shedding their leaves and seeds everywhere and also potentially harboring wasps or birds (who eat my berries!) Let’s hope I can maintain them at this height..

Fig plant has 17 figs and starting to send out a few secondary branches too! so excited to see it grow 😍and i must say i kinda regret chopping off its top trunk for propagation earlier as only 1 out of 7 cuttings actually rooted 🥲

So happy to count 17 figs sprouting on my old fig plant! I had chopped the top off to propagate new plants a few weeks ago but only 1 out of 7 cuttings took: the tiniest one in the smallest pot! Repotted it today into a much larger pot and hope it will be as fruitful as its mother tree 😍🙏🙏

Finally managed to squeeze out a few hours over the CNY long weekend to repot 15 plants, including 9 , 2 , and one each of fig, rosemary, variegated frydek, and kale! Had some help from my daughter this time 🥰 It was nice bonding on a rainy day 😘

Monsoon is over and sunny days are back again 😘 So glad. Time to plant something next weekend if i have time!

So proud of this for growing so steadily. It’s been consistently putting out alternately a green leaf on the left and a half aurea on the right, but this time the new leaf on the left is also aurea variegated! Wow 😍
