Tank overflowing or water running down the overflow pipe?

Usually the float valve is stuck, worn, or set too high — not a “full tank” problem.

Check from a safe distance:
• Overflow running even when nobody is using water
• Hiss or drip at the ball float
• Water mark / wet stain under the tank
• Pump cycling more than usual

Do not climb into a confined tank. Send a photo of the overflow and the float if you can see it safely.

We inspect, repair or replace the float valve, then check the tank after.
