Uplifting Children

Uplifting Children Dream Bearers aims to inspire children/youth to paint their life dreams; they or our volunteers carry their dreams to peaks (Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Doom, etc.)

Dream Bearers aims to inspire children and youth around the world through a collaborative visioning project (through painting) and expedition to climb summits of mountains/high buildings with the painted life dreams. The second part of Dream Bearers is bringing these life dreams to the peaks/summits of mountains or buildings. On March 1st, 2013, our team achieved the summit of the world's highest

free-standing mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. The expedition team is taking several of the finished canvases to the peak of Kilimanjaro - Uhuru Point, which means freedom in Swahili - to symbolically set the children's dreams free to be realised. Our volunteers have also climbed other peaks such as Mt Doom (Lord of the Rings), Mt Kinabalu, and buildings such as One Raffles Place (highest building in Singapore). This project encourages children and youth, and their families & teachers, to appreciate universal friendship and show kindness towards special needs and underserved children through a fund raising effort involving the artwork. The expedition demonstrates that a challenging goal can be reached with proper training, teamwork and guidance, just as the children’s big dreams can also be fulfilled, if they have the right mindset, resilience and support. The project has been organised by
Ingenio (Young and Fit) - an education/training company with a mission to fulfill creative potential and character strengths. Contact: [email protected]

If made leader of their country, the top priority for children globally is improving education or providing enrichment opportunities.
Let's help them achieve their dreams.
