Business During the Pandemic
As all of us in the design professions know, Covid-19 has had a substantial effect on our work this year. Not only have projects slowed and construction come to a standstill for periods of time, but in-house procedures have had to change in order to respond to lockdowns and travel restrictions. At the same time, and most importantly though, we try to stay safe and healthy!
At Land Design One the sudden shift to remote working and communications during these times has been nothing new to our operations, as we have always been accustomed to online collaboration. As our Singapore and Manila staff have been in daily collaboration on most projects, and with LD1 Director Brian Baker based in Barcelona, the firm already had a working system in place that has quickly adapted to the rules and challenges of the pandemic.
