2024 Wrap up! รวม 4 ผลงาน 4 สไตล์ที่พลาดไม่ได้ในปีนี้จาก GLA Design Studio
GLA Design Studio ขอชวนทุกคนมาทิ้งทวนส่งท้ายปีด้วย 4 โปรเจกต์ที่เราภูมิใจนำเสนออีกครั้งก่อนบอกลาปี 2024 ไม่ว่าจะเป็นโฮมคาเฟ่เรือนไทย บ้านโมเดิร์นสุดล้ำ บ้านบรรยากาศอบอุ่น และคาเฟ่ที่พาหลุดจากโลกอันแสนวุ่นวาย ซึ่งทุกๆ โปรเจกต์เราออกแบบด้วยความตั้งใจและเอาใจใส่ตลอดกระบวนการเพื่อมอบของขวัญที่ดีที่สุดให้กับทุกคน หากพร้อมแล้วไปดูกันเลย!
1 เรือนเล็ก / RUEN LEK
โฮมคาเฟ่ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศธรรมชาติและความบ้านๆ ของจันทบุรี โดยตัวบ้านนั้นถูกออกแบบให้ยกใต้ถุนสูงสำหรับวางฟังก์ชันคาเฟ่ในชั้นหนึ่งตามฉบับสถาปัตยกรรมพื้นถิ่น เราใช้ประตูบานเฟี้ยมแทนผนังทึบสองด้าน เพื่อตอบโจทย์กับสภาพอากาศเขตร้อนชื้น โดยสามารถเปิดโล่งรับลมหรือปิดป้องกันฝนได้ ผนังอีกด้านหนึ่งถูกออกแบบเป็นผนังตกแต่ง ด้วยโครงเคร่าผนังที่เป็นทั้งชั้นวางของสุดเก๋ มาพร้อมหน้าต่างบานกระทุ้งและช่องแสงซึ่งช่วยกรองแสงแดด บนชั้นสองของเรือนถูกโอบล้อมด้วยชานระเบียงไม้ใต้ชายคาที่เราออกแบบให้สามารถนั่งห้อยขาได้ ส่วนภายในพื้นที่ใช้สอยบนชั้นสองนั้นถูกออกแบบให้ลมสามารถไหลผ่านได้อย่างต่อเนื่องตลอดแนว รวมทั้งเว้นพื้นที่ใต้หลังคาจั่วให้ความร้อนได้พักตัวก่อนจะระบายออกไปอีกด้วย นอกจากนี้พื้นที่สวนสไตล์ทรอปิคอลยังถูกออกแบบให้มีเอกลักษณ์ทั้งเป็นธรรมชาติเพื่อกลมกลืนกับบริบทรอบข้าง
2 บ้านปิตานนท์ / BAAN PITANON
ด้วยความต้องการที่จะรวบรวมบ้านและร้านขายยาให้เป็นหนึ่งเดียว กอปรกับมีสภาพแวดล้อมที่ดี มีความเป็นส่วนตัว และตอบโจทย์ด้านฮวงจุ้ย จึงนำมาสู่คอนเซ็ปต์การผสานความแตกต่างให้ลงตัวเพื่อสร้างความอยู่สบายให้บ้านหลังนี้ โดยสวนใจกลางบ้านทำหน้าที่แบ่งโซนร้านและโซนบ้านออกจากกัน และเป็นทั้งศูนย์กลางของบ้านที่เชื่อมแต่ละพื้นที่เข้าไว้ด้วยกัน ผ่านการมองเห็นและสัมผัสบรรยากาศของสวนร่วมกัน นอกจากนี้ Double skin façade จากบล็อกช่องลมยังเป็นองค์ประกอบสำคัญที่ช่วยกรองการมองเห็น ส่งผลให้เกิดความเป็นส่วนตัวแก่ผู้อยู่อาศัย และสร้างภาพลักษณ์ที่น่าสนใจเมื่อมองจากภายนอก บล็อกช่องลมยังช่วยลดแสงแดดที่เข้าสู่ตัวบ้านโดยตรง ทำให้บ้านสบายน่าอยู่ตลอดเวลา พร้อมทั้งสามารถสร้างลวดลายจากแสงและเงาที่แตกต่างกันไปตามมุมของพระอาทิตย์ในแต่ละช่วงเวลา
3 บ้านวัชรพล / BAAN VACHARAPHOL
โครงการรีโนเวทบ้านจัดสรรเก่าสองชั้นย่านสายไหม เพื่อเตรียมบ้านให้พร้อมต้อนรับสมาชิกใหม่ของครอบครัว พร้อมโจทย์จากทางเจ้าของที่ต้องการได้สัมผัสและอยู่ร่วมกับธรรมชาติ ภายใต้บรรยากาศความเป็นบ้านในทุกๆ วัน ด้วยเหตุนี้นำมาสู่การออกแบบพื้นที่ที่ให้ทุกฟังก์ชันได้เชื่อมต่อและเปิดรับเข้าหาธรรมชาติ โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ Study & Living ที่เหมาะกับการเติบโตของเด็กในแต่ละช่วงวัย ทั้งสามารถเปิดประตูบานเฟี้ยมเชื่อมกับชานไม้กลายเป็นพื้นที่ Semi-Outdoor ต่อเนื่องไปยังสระว่ายน้ำและสวน เราได้ปรับเปลี่ยนประตูและหน้าต่างให้เปิดรับแสงแดดและลมมากขึ้น เพื่อเพิ่มความโปร่งโล่งสบายให้กับตัวบ้าน รวมถึงซ่อนคอร์ทยาร์ดเล็กๆ ภายใต้ขนาดพื้นที่จำกัดรอบตัวบ้าน มากกว่านั้นเรายังเสริมบรรยากาศอบอุ่นของครอบครัวด้วยวัสดุท้องถิ่นและงานแฮนด์คราฟท์ที่ให้ความรู้สึกเรียบง่าย ให้สัมผัสเป็นธรรมชาติ เช่น ไม้, กระเบื้องดินเผา, อิฐ, คอนกรีตเปลือย, กระเบื้องหิน, กระเบื้องเคลือบสี และกรวดแม่น้ำ
4 โดป เดลี่ / DOPE DAILY
จากข้อจำกัดของที่ดินของคาเฟ่ที่อยู่ในแนวเวนคืน ทั้งยังรายล้อมด้วยความวุ่นวายจากรอบข้าง ด้วยเหตุนี้เราจึงใช้ผนังจากแผ่นโปร่งแสงชนิดลอนคู่ขนาดกลางในการห่อหุ้มภายนอกอาคาร และเปิดช่องหน้าต่างเฉพาะด้านที่หันเข้าสู่คอร์ทยาร์ดภายใน เพื่อให้ผนังทำหน้าที่ลดการมองเห็นจากมุมมองถนน โดยยังสามารถเปิดรับแสงธรรมชาติพร้อมกรองแสงแดดให้นุ่มนวลลง มากกว่านั้น ในยามค่ำ แสงไฟสีวอร์มไวท์จากภายในอาคารจะส่องสว่างผ่านแผ่นโปร่งแสงออกมา เกิดเป็นภาพจำที่ชวนสะดุดตา โครงสร้างเหล็กและแผ่นไม้เบาเป็นอีกวัสดุหลักที่ใช้ เนื่องจากเป็นโครงสร้างเบาที่ติดตั้ง-ถอดประกอบได้ง่าย ตอบโจทย์กับข้อจำกัดพื้นที่ เราทาสีผนังบางส่วนด้วยสีเขียวอ่อนและใช้ไม้สีอ่อน เพื่อสร้างบรรยากาศภายในคาเฟ่ให้ดูสว่าง สื่อถึงกลิ่นอายโฮมมี่ของคาเฟ่ และสอดรับกับเงาของพุ่มไม้หลากหลายรูปทรงที่ลอดผ่านแผ่นโปร่งแสงเข้ามาอย่างกลมกลืน
GLA Design Studio would like to invite everyone to look back at the 4 projects that we proudly present once again before saying goodbye to 2024, including a Thai-style home cafe, a modern house, a house with a warm atmosphere, and a cafe that takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the world. In every project, we created thoughtful and mindful designs throughout the process to give everyone the best gift. If you are ready, let's take a look!
1 RUEN LEK
The home cafe amidst the natural and friendly atmosphere of Chanthaburi. The house was elevated on stilts to create space for a café on the first floor that is reminiscent of traditional architecture. Folding doors, which were used instead of solid walls on two sides to respond to tropical climate, can be opened to let in the wind or closed to protect them from the rain. The other side was designed as a decorative wall that features a grid-like wall structure that serves as multi-purpose shelving, complete with awning windows and translucent panels that help filter sunlight. The second floor is surrounded by a wooden veranda beneath the eaves. This area is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the breeze. The interior on the second floor was designed to facilitate continuous ventilation from front to back, with a gable roof to dissipate heat. In addition, the tropical garden area is designed to be unique and natural to blend in with the surrounding context.
2 BAAN PITANON
With the desire to combine a house and a pharmacy together while having a nice ambience and privacy while following Feng Shui, these requirements led to the concept of combining differences to create comfortable living for this house. The inner courtyard separates the pharmacy from the living area, acts as the center of the house, and connects the spaces together. In addition, the double-skin façades from the ventilation blocks are an important element that helps filter the view, maintaining the residents’ privacy while creating an interesting image from the outside. The ventilation block also reduces the amount of glare in the house, making the interior more comfortable and creating various lighting effects depending on the sun angles at different times.
3 BAAN VACHARAPHOL
This is a renovation project of an old two-story house in Sai Mai to welcome a new family member with the owner's requirements to have a life among nature that is within reach every single day. Their wish led to a space design that connects functions together and opens up to nature, especially the Study & Living area that is suitable for the growth of children. The folding door can be opened to connect to the wooden terrace, becoming a semi-outdoor area that continues to the swimming pool and the garden. To promote an airy and comfortable ambience in the house, we modified the doors and windows to let sunlight in and help thoroughly ventilate the indoor spaces. Moreover, we created a warm family atmosphere with local materials and handcrafted products that are simple and have a natural touch, such as wood, terracotta tiles, bricks, raw concrete, stone tiles, color coated terracotta tiles and river gravels.
4 DOPE DAILY
Due to the risk of expropriation for redevelopment and being surrounded by the hustle and bustle surrounding area, we used medium-sized translucent corrugated sheets for the exterior instead of solid walls and faced the openings of this building to the internal courtyard. These walls would reduce visibility from the outside while still allowing sunlight to enter and softening it. Additionally, in the evening, warm white lights from inside the building shine through the translucent sheets, creating a striking visual impression. Steel structures and wooden panels are the other primary materials used because they are lightweight while also being easy to install and dismantle, a good response to space limitations. We painted some of the walls in light green and used light-colored wood to create a bright and distinctive interior that reflects the homey scent of the cafe and harmonizes with the silhouette of various shrub shapes that pass through the translucent panels.
