Indian Arrival Day commemorates the arrival of the first indentured labourers from India in May 1845 on a ship named Fatel Razack after a journey of five months, carrying 225 Indians. The Futtle Rozack brought not only a new labour force to assist in the economic development of Trinidad, but also a new people with a new culture. I'm proud of the people we've become over the years, thanks to our ancestors for making that decision and taking a risk, venturing into a whole new life for their future and their future generations
