On a mission this week to reclaim pump canals/ditches, for Mr Allen.

Job description- Cleaning the bottoms of the canals/ditches and rebuild his levees to better serve his needs.

As an older fella, he likes to drive his truck down these levees. With that being said, we are widening the levees 4ft and leveling them; to ensure he doesn’t slide into the fields or even the canal/ditch.

Once everything crust over we will be back to blade them smooth with a small crown in the center for drainage. Dressing slopes on canal/ditches will follow thereafter🤝

This one shaped up nicely for Mr Mikey Kibedeaux.
Appreciate the trust and support from this client and a great friend.

Here’s the rundown:

• Cut down 6” into the organic layer; removing this layer allows for better stability over time, for less chance of cracking and settling of the pad/slab.

• Stock piled all the organic material/topsoil on site for final dress.

• Imported some select fill, and built up 1.9 foot of building foundation. Compacted and ready for mallet buildings to do their handy work.

• We agreed to leave the final dress not finished, until after the building is completed.

With the southern summer months passing and crawfishing coming to an end, we are moving into land management mode!

Plows will be hooked up and ready for your needs, as-well as the bush hogs.

Upcoming hunting seasons are around the corner, get on the books for water buffaloing early.

As always, dirt work needs are year round, if those levees need fixing we can manage that too!
