June is men’s mental health month. A month where men’s mental health is often overlooked, or often forgotten about. Daily struggles and challenges with men amount to over 79% of su***des world wide. This number isn’t simply a statistic, but a brother, a father, a son, a friend, or simply a person someone cares about.

Societal pressure to “stay strong” and avoid any personal help often prevents men from seeking any help. As a result, this often leads to men suffering in silence, and believing that reaching out is a weakness.

This month is a powerful reminder to break the stigma surrounding men’s mental health—and to speak up if you’re feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or unseen. Reaching out is not a weakness; it’s a courageous step toward healing.
