On the eve of the 24th anniversary of September 11th, our nation was shaken again—this time by the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot while speaking at an event in Utah.
As Americans, our hearts are heavy. We grieve not only the innocent lives lost on 9/11, but also the loss of Charlie Kirk, and the reminder of how fragile life is in a world that often feels divided.
At RestoRoof, today we are setting aside our work to honor the brave souls our country has lost—whether on that dark day in 2001, or in moments of senseless violence since. We are reserving this day for prayer, silence, and unity.
Our prayer is simple: that hatred and division give way to compassion and understanding. That our country may heal, and that we never forget the price of freedom and the value of every Life, Voice, and Opinions of our fellow Americans.
Work operations will resume on September 12th. Until then, we stand together, humbled, grieving, and hopeful for a better tomorrow.
