What started as a lawn care business has grown into so much more.

At JLC Services we’ve expanded our services to tackle everything from landscaping and grading to drainage, excavation, demolition, and site restoration. Our goal has always been simple: provide quality work, do the job safely, and leave every project better than we found it.

Here’s a look at one of our most recent projects. The demolition of the former Stonewall Public Schools Superintendent’s Office.

This project required careful planning and precision. We safely demolished and removed the entire structure while protecting the active utility services that continued supplying nearby buildings. Once the demolition was complete, we hauled in fresh topsoil, graded the site, and installed new sod, leaving behind a clean, finished property that looks as if the building was never there.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with your projects and supported our growth!

From bare dirt to a lush green lawn transformation! 🌱🔥

This yard started with little to no grass and needed a complete refresh from the ground up. We cleared out the area, brought in fresh topsoil, installed new sod, and applied shade mix grass seed in the areas under the trees where traditional grass struggles to grow.

Now just weeks later, the results are speaking for themselves! The lawn has filled in beautifully and completely changed the appearance of the property.

For this project, we helped solve major drainage issues while completely upgrading the look of the area. We installed a heavy duty channel drain with concrete around it for long term durability and proper water flow control.

We also tied in two gutter downspouts and ran them underground to redirect water safely to the back side of the property toward the customer’s pond, helping keep excess water away from the house and problem areas. 🌧️

To finish the project off, we installed a custom flagstone area with a natural look using pea-size river rock between some of the stones and topsoil in other sections so grass can grow in naturally over time. The combination turned out clean, functional, and low maintenance. 🌿🪨

Another property transformed and protected the right way.

Customer gave us a budget, so we focused on fixing the main problem first, drainage. No point in pretty landscaping if water is washing everything out.

✔️ Installed 4” drainage pipe on all gutters
✔️ Routed water away with pop up emitters
✔️ Reused existing retaining wall blocks to save the customer money
✔️ Rebuilt and reinforced the wall
✔️ Designed and added a new landscape bed
✔️ Installed trees and plants
✔️ Finished it off with clean river rock for a sharp, low maintenance look

Now the property not only looks great, but it’s set up to last and handle water the right way.

We’ve already got plans in place to extend and build onto this in the future 🔥
