Folks...we are living in a reality where 2 dozen of these assorted doughnuts cost $51 dollars! Yes, assorted doughnuts $25.50 a dozen. Are they delicious...? Yes, however I was taken back at the cost. The point of my post is: put it into perspective...the next time you get a quote or hear a price for basically anything these days....We are in a super inflated economy and the reason these doughnuts cost so much is because everything has literally doubled in the last couple of years. Doubled. I heard about someone today who was quoted $200 to have their chimney swept (by another business) and how that was expensive...I responded, put sweeping a chimney for $200 alongside $51 for 2 dozen of doughnuts! LOL...that brings it back down to a reasonable price for a necessary service. We need to all pray for America this year. The dollar seems to be in trouble.
