And finally it is quiet in the house…. No more dehydrators running! It is always so weird once we pack up for the year we usually have 4-6 dehydrators running 24/7 spring and summer.

Starting the office/shop clean up today. Be ready for some random salt mix ups! We are also currently doing trial runs on new products for next year and will be planning some holiday crafts!

Is there anything yall would like to see us make or offer in the future?

Mary Franks makes the BEST flavored fire c***r I’ve had, go check her stuff out! Won’t let me tag her Mary’s Market Stand & classes page but definitely check it out such great stuff!

Chick hatching update: they are huge! We did unfortunately lose the silver hen to a hawk a few weeks ago so we are down to five!

Also will be rehoming “Big Bird” (largest white) and the other white rooster this spring if anyone is interested or wanna trade! All are kid friendly and handled often, but it’s already turning into a competition arena out there but the old hens been keeping them in check! 😆 🐓

Been some chilly mornings out there! 🥶

We just got done with a batch of Celery Basil Salt.

Ingredients: Celery, Pacific Sea Salt, Basil blend.

Great in some warm soup, fresh veggies (I love it on tomatoes), chicken roasts, and even sauces!

Grab it while you can this will be the LAST batch of it. We have more salt coming in this week and will be making some unique end of season blends to use the last of the powdered veggies in different ways.

We also will be doing some trial runs of some other products for next year! Stay tuned! 🍓 🫐
