This Memorial Day may we honor and remember those who served and fell. The men and women who gave up their lives in service to their country, their families, and their neighbors. For many the reality of that loss is much closer to home than others, but let’s not forget because of their sacrifices we are all able to be here, living the lives we live, enjoying the freedoms we have.

Though, here I am promoting my business, I want it to be known that first and foremost, this is a day of remembrance. I recognize that I get to do this because of these men and women who laid everything down.

The end of the school year is here in our region. There's a lot of kids moving from one grade to the next and growing up along with it. There's a ton of kids who are moving on to the next phase in their lives as they bud into young adults. We wish all these kids the absolute best and brightest possibilities for their future.

Short little video showing the ceiling of this patio cover we did in Houston. This is a fun design because it still allows a ton of natural light to come in much like a traditional gable, but manages to block direct rays from coming in the end. This one faced nearly due south.

Simple little cabinet job, but it still deserves its due attention. From the concept stage to the finished product (in this case, unpainted for the client). We did add doors for the washer/dryer area on the left, and we put a large notch in the back between it and the refrigerator to help with hook-up.

Site-built custom kitchen cabinets to fit this tiny home. Unfinished so the homeowner could decide later on the paint color.

A fun little nautical-inspired hallway project. 1x6 pine tongue-and-groove bead-board ceiling, with 1x pine trim, quarter-round, and rope trim. The light was switched out from a dome style to this bubble-glass style as well.

We moved the attic access down the hall and favored one side. This gave better access in the attic (as it was cramped before) and gives better access to pass the ladder in the hallway.
