Two years ago, I poured everything I had into building what I believed would be our forever shop. But the Lord had different plans.
Earlier this week, I signed the lease on a new space that will nearly triple the size of our current shop and position us for the next season of growth. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine we’d reach this point, yet I truly believe this is only the beginning.
At Palmetto Pines, one of our core beliefs is to live with a Day One mentality for a One Day reality. To us, that means we will always dream about what could be “one day,” while never forgetting where God brought us from on “day one.”
Contentment is not the same as complacency. We can be deeply grateful for what God has entrusted to us while faithfully pursuing the opportunities He places before us. Growth is born out of gratitude.
None of this would be possible without the incredible people who have been part of this journey. I’m especially grateful for our amazing team at Palmetto Pines, every client who has trusted us over the years, and our contractor partners who have believed in us and helped us grow.
We are incredibly blessed and excited for what lies ahead. This new space will allow us to serve our clients and contractor partners at an even higher level, and we can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store next.
As we begin this new chapter, I was humbled to open the doors of our new shop this morning to a group of men from our community and their families who gathered to pray over this place. Every cabinet that will ever be built here, every client who will ever be served, every employee who will walk through these doors, and every opportunity the Lord brings our way was covered in prayer.
I can’t think of a better way to begin. I’m incredibly thankful to be surrounded by people who care just as deeply about building God’s Kingdom as they do about building a business. My prayer is that everything we do inside these walls would honor Him and serve others with excellence.
