Job description
We are looking for an experienced, talented individual to join our construction company as a Concrete Supervisor. As part of our team, you will lead crews in the completion of various concrete projects while ensuring a safe and efficient workplace. You will coordinate tasks for your crews according to current project needs, produce schedules for crew members, and supervise the use of machinery and overall craftsmanship onsite. In some cases, you may need to train crew members on safe equipment use. Our ideal candidate has considerable professional experience in construction, particularly with concrete. You must also possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Coordinate tasks and schedules for crew members
Supervise workers throughout the shift, ensuring safety, appropriate work stoppages, and organization
Resolve problems with projects, materials, and workers as they arise
Qualifications
Five years of concrete construction experience, including experience in a leadership or supervisory position
Detailed knowledge of concrete construction procedures and OSHA guidelines
Experience with blueprint reading, concrete finishing, and managing crews
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred
