Next up on our “banish the grey” historic Davidsonville renovation is the reimagined kitchen space. We added richness with warm walnut and creamy white cabinetry with a touch of beautiful green peeking through from the pantry. Bringing this amazing waterfront home back to its roots has been so satisfying. The floor plan was also reworked for improved flow and usability, and as always, more expansive river views.

The next space from our “banish the grey” historic Davidsonville renovation is this gorgeous dining room. Beefing up the trim, adding rich hued colors and decor was completely transformative. We also opened up the entrance to the space for better flow and connection but some things are difficult to demonstrate in a picture.

This traditional home in Davidsonville, Maryland was disguised under layers of grey paint, large format porcelain tile and uber contemporary chrome fixtures. Our client brought us in to bring back its historical charm. We have many before and after pictures to share, but we can start with this fireplace.

We used reclaim brick veneer brought in from the streets of New York City. Coupled with some creamy white trim and a green velvet sofa, this cozy nook with a peak at the River has all the feels❤️
