Mike Hoff who is one of our employees has a keen eye for detail and he was the main man working on "Sussie" during her restoration. Mike had a few others help clean her up: Dirk Shoop, Chris Griggs, Jake Cline and our kids Lucy, Urban & Grace. They did a great job and she turned out awesome!! Check out a few before, during and after pictures.

A little about "Sussie"
She is Buckeye model 1 wheel machine with a patent from 1906.
Originally, she was a steam engine with steel front wheels but along the way she was converted to a Chrysler gas engine and rubber tires.
We bought her in 2023 from Joe Rienhart.
She still was being used to wheel in tile up until the 1980's and still currently runs.

With all the rain we have been receiving it has given our guys a much need break from field work. Before they finish up the systematic farm drainage jobs for the season, we want to give a huge shout out and say THANK YOU to all of our loyal customers that come back year after year and our new customers that have supported us.
Here is one of our two plows that install drainage tile for farmers. This Inter-Drain plow has been a great addition to our company. These mighty machines are capable of trenching in 4"-10" drainage tile 7 feet below the ground and can continue to dig with 12"+ frost.
