The classic Horizontal Airflow Fans are designed and usually placed up high in the growing environment to circulate the hot air, reduce overall stratification and humidity. But airflow from these fans rarely reaches the crop level. Snap-Fan’s EC20 Max has a wider air cone and is designed to deliver the recommended 150 FPM airflow to the leaves at plant level. This penetrates the boundary layer of each leaf to promote photosynthesis while bringing CO2 into the canopy and removing O2. The stomata located on the bottom of each leaf then open to allow the gas exchange and promote growth.
