Catching up on some of this year’s projects this far. A little bit of everything - a new mortared landing and curbing, some Lilly pad walkway stones, we took apart an old waterfall and made some things in the yard for a client.

We have a bunch of really neat jobs coming up this year, can’t wait to share them!

Got this little garden wall wrapped up. Client wanted a wall and a boulder to frame a cascading river rock bed - bed is still to come. I made the wall more flowy toward the waterfall part, ie a few unlevel stones on that side, then leveled everything else out for the rest of the wall. There are a few spots I’m not happy with, overall turned out well

Been a fun one to build thus far. Still have a couple spots to fill and leveling on the caps. I wish I could tighten up all the joints like I want, time and budget don’t always allow for it.

A couple days in, starting to look like a wall

Getting started on a small dry laid wall. My yard started carrying this tumbled stone which looks great and is pleasant to work. They have a huge tumbler that holds a couple tons of stone and as it rolls around it knocks all the little edges off. I had to work around a tree root and give it space for the future, the root part of the wall will be buried in the final grade.

These are fun for me to build.
