This nozzle was set in a way that caused the HVAC unit to be sprayed directly every time the system ran. Over time, this kind of exposure can lead to premature deterioration, corrosion, and ultimately costly repairs or even full replacement of the unit.

A native of Santa Cruz, Tom brings a strong educational background with a bachelor’s degree in Plant Science and Chemistry. Over the past 15 years, he’s built an impressive career working in agricultural irrigation throughout California.

Now calling Southern Oregon home to be closer to family, Tom enjoys spending his free time out on the rivers, hiking the mountains, and riding his motorcycle.

This valve had just a little bit of debris stuck in the diaphragm—but it was enough to keep it open and cause a constant leak.

The good news? It was a quick fix once we tracked it down.
