Our Inner Circle

So we would be nothing without our collaborators and this is a short list of recommendations that are experts in things that are beyond our interest or expertise.

Let's start with one of our very first supporters with JoKai Eco Services. They are the big machinery guys with eco friendly forest mulching services, stump grinding, and field restoration.

Next is Fielder’s Choice Outdoor Maintenance for all of your lawn care. We are not passionate about grass but they certainly do a great job at keeping your lawn maintained.

For high quality mulch we use Caroline Wood Recycling & Mulch Yard by Medek Ent. They give a great fine ground mulch with great service and delivery and we are grateful for them!

For all of your fencing needs we use 's fence They give honest service with great communication and the years of experience to back it up

The tops look a little bare we're not gonna lie HOWEVER there are plenty of buds on the interior to fill the space in a short amount time. Not all plants can take this sort of reset so before you go DIY and ruin your plants be sure it has the ability to recover

"I would like to improve my living space"

So this is a home from the 1950s that I'm sure in its hayday was wonderfully landscaped and then things grew and grew and grew some more and while the shrubs were perfectly healthy. They just outgrew the space so we had removed these magestic boxwoods reutilized the pavers and created a cottage style garden that is going to have interest all 365 days, attract pollinators, and be easier to maintain as it fills in and chokes out any weeds that attempt to pe*****te.

A Clean Line

This client has 3 different ground covers in this garden bed that were completing for the same space in the garden and proceeded to impose on the adjacent patio. We were able to reveal that brick again and thin out some of that ground cover for a cleaner more manageable look.

The cold hardy variety also known as the Voodoo lily is hands down my favorite plant I own. I often use this plant as a test for clients to see how FUNKY of a gardener they are. This shade loving plant sends up a bloom that wreaks of rotting meat for just a FEW days but the leaf spike is straight out of Jurassic park. The stem has maroon leopard spots and wide umbrella like palmate leaf. The Foliage is such a stunner and demands attention in the garden. I was willing to pot up 5 babies in the stand for the ones who dare to explore this amazing plant. The leaf spikes are JUST now showing themselves which is an INCREDIBLE test of PATIENCE for gardeners.

So this patio not only look like it had dinosaurs hiding in it, it had some living fossils thriving and escaping their enclosure. This i fossil is call horsetail reed, the structure of the plant is so simple that it multiplies and spreads in EVERY inch of soil available. No leaves, no seeds, just stalks of plant doom!!! We were able to tackle this project removing brush, horsetail reed,and English ivy that escaped its planter. There was also layers of thick plastic that was removed (it OBVIOUSLY didn't stop the weeds) and layed down a layer of THICK cardboard and THICK mulch to suppress any existing sprouts. The cardboard and mulch will break down to feed our microbes and worms for excellent soil to feed future plants .

So these are some arrangements MOSTLY made from farm grown FOLIAGE and flowers. We really feel that a good leafy stem elevates an arrangement from mass produced to hand touched. We strive to be 100% grown one day but we are working hard and doing the very best we can
