REI Utility Services helps utilities look below the surface.

A wood pole can appear sound above ground while deterioration develops at the groundline. To check for problems hidden beneath the outer shell, REI technicians perform groundline boring, drilling small diagnostic holes near the soil line to detect internal decay, hollow pockets, and fungal rot.

Those findings help utility teams make informed decisions about maintenance and replacement. REI keeps utilities informed as testing progresses, so they can see where the program stands without chasing updates.

REI started in a kitchen with a couple of clients and an idea for doing things differently.

As we grew, we kept listening to our clients and building around what they needed, bringing more services under one roof and making it easier to get answers and get work done.
