Dear folks, I have not actively participated on this platform for some considerable time. Although I still dabble in tile painting from time to time, it has become infrequent since my professional retirement and subsequent shift to oil painting. I was therefore surprised to discover that someone had made an effort to locate me, inquiring about the possibility of painting a mermaid for her client's shower installation. Uncertain how she came across my profile after my website went offline, I did decide to accept the project, particularly since I had some eight-inch tiles in storage and was actually inspired to revisit the mermaid theme. Here she is before packing her up… the designer promised to send a photo of the installation which I will post later.
