“Is this still Alex?”
This is a text I often receive from clients who have moved away, decided to care for their property themselves, or have chosen to use someone cheaper to save on their budget. This one’s a little different.
Three years ago, this client, who lives in New York full-time, faced a tough time when his mother passed, and he needed someone to step in to manage the property one time to get the HOA off his back, and he mentioned selling the property once it was complete.
We cleaned up the yard, and basically gutted the interior of the home due to squatters ruining everything, sent the invoice, and got paid shortly after. That was the last time I thought I would hear from him. Until last week, I received the text “is this still Alex?”, same scenario taking place once again, and this time the HOA is issuing daily fines for the overgrowth outside, giving us a chance to rise to the challenge once more.

We were able to secure the maintenance contract on this property until he decides how he is proceeding with this house.
