Job Description
Wiring Georgia is looking for an Electrical Apprentice. This person would be working alongside of a Master Electrician, offering a great opportunity for someone to learn the trade. While no experience is required, an interest in the electrical field is a must. The ideal candidate is someone that is hard-working, punctual, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- installing and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures
- performing general electrical maintenance
- troubleshooting electrical issues
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Compensation
- Part-time, Hourly – Pay commensurate with experience
- The Georgia Construction Industry License board requires 4 years of work under a licensed electrical contractor in order to apply to be a licensed electrician. For the right candidate, Wiring Georgia would train, verify hours worked, and pay the exam fee for employees.
